Dental Marketing 2014 Predictions

Hey Practitioners, Abdul here. Somebody asked me, what are my predictions for the next 12 months, in the world of internet marketing. Especially, when it relates to Dental Practitioners. In the past few years, you’ve already seen a lot of changes. SEO and Link building are not as simple as they used to be. There’s been a lot of changes in the world of SEO. But what we’ve seen already is content marketing, it has began to play a much larger role, as well as social media shares as well. So I would encourage the dentist to take some time, to ask their assistants. To put out content, which is interesting, engaging, encourages social shares. Just so they can get the word out there. Don’t think about just promoting, your dental clinic specifically. But just put out informative, yet engaging, informational stuff.

There’s lots of stuff like this, already on the internet. You can look on some YouTube videos, to gain inspiration. Just look at some content to gain inspiration. And write something, send it to your email list, and post it on your blog. Post it on your Facebook page, and see what type of engagement, you can get. You don’t have to do this, very often. Once a month, should be enough. But just make a healthy habit of doing that, it’s gonna tremendously help your website, get ranked, on search engines. Another thing that I see coming is, the increased importance of mobile. Couple of years ago, not many people were searching, through mobile devices at all. Now, people are searching through tablets. People are searching through mobiles, more than ever before. Mobile searches are gonna continue increasing. Everyone’s on the go. Whenever someone is searching for you, through their mobile. They’re also more likely to walk into your clinics, because they are on the go. Not just sitting in their office. So make sure, your websites are mobile responsive. If Google sees that your website, is not mobile responsive. What will happen, is a lot of people are just gonna get out of your website. Because they are not having the best experience. The website size text is too small on their mobile devices. When Google sees bounce rates. People are coming at your website, are not having the most enjoyable experience, and they leave right away. You definitely are gonna get penalized for that. So make sure guys, your website is mobile responsive. It’s 2014 and you have no excuse, not to have an engaging, responsive, website. So I’ve already talked about, having content which is likeable, shareable. Basically the importance of social media, is gonna continue increasing, and that ties into my last point. I think for doctors, and dentists, specially reviews are gonna continue, having a very important role. Reviews are basically a permanent record, of your patient’s thoughts, on your service. Google is just gonna continue giving more importance to that. So start building a list of reviews. Start having online reviews. The more reviews you have, the more credible you’re gonna seem, for your patients. As well as for search engines. So get those reviews. Start putting out interesting content. If you need any help with this, we specialize in this, and we’d love to help you out.
